Inouye's Biography


Yujiro Inouye received the B.Eng., M.Eng., and D.Eng. degrees in Control Engineering in 1966, 1968, and 1971, respectively, from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan.
From April in 1971 to March in 1997, he was with the Faculty of Engineering Science, Osaka University. Since April in 1997, he is a Professor at the Department of Electronic and Control Systems Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Shimane University. His research interests are in signal processing, neural networks, system identification, and control engineering.
Dr. Inouye is a member of the International Neural Network Society, the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers in Japan, the Society of Instrument and Control Engineers in Japan, and the Institute of Systems, Control, and Information Engineers in Japan.

8)研究歴:1971年〜1980年の10年間は非線形制御系の可観測性、多項式行列の逆行列の計算法、制御系の安定化補償器の設計、制御系設計の計算機援用設計プログラム(CAD)パッケージの開発などの研究に従事.1981年〜1983年の3年間は多変量自己回帰(AR)モデルの構成や多変量信号のスペクトル推定の研究に従事。1984年〜1985年の2年間は分布定数系や遅延系を含む無限次元線形系のシステム理論的な研究、特に、伝達関数行列の行列分解表現、既約行列分解表現、準マクミラン形式の研究に従事.1986年以後、3次や4次の高次統計量を用いた信号処理の研究、特に、高次統計量による線形システムのモデリング、重畳した幾つかの信号のブラインド信号分離、などの研究に従事.現在、ディジタル通信用の等化器の設計に関する研究に従事.
